Automating the care and maintenance of the crops is a necessity to ensure the sustenance of the crops. That is why today we present the design of our latest drone, the MK2, exclusively designed for the industrial sector and focused on the agricultural sector. With it, it will be possible to automate processes such as the real-time monitoring of the field with multispectral sensors and the irrigation of chemicals such as pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers.
It has a fixed-wing drone (airplane) capable of monitoring around 60 linear km with a width of 50 m, collecting aerial image that provides valuable information for high-performance producers. These images are received at a ground station for further processing.
The processed images give us valuable information with which we can make decisions about the routes to which the multi-rotor will have to go to supply the chemicals in a precise and waste-free way with a maximum load of 20 kg (Capacities never before seen in the market of commercial drones), this farming technique is named as precision agriculture and thanks to it, the information collected gives us information about field and crop conditions in real time, taking action on the results in a matter of hours when previously It took weeks.
Both drones have the same interchangeable flight computer to reduce costs. In the future, this computer will be able to automate the processing of collected information and the tracing of flight routes.
